Kinderförderverein Nordfriesland e.V.
Seven members of the regional parents representation committee for nursery schools in Nordfriesland founded the Kinderförderverein Nordfriesland e.V. in june 2005.
Purpose of this foundation is the promotion of education and upbringing of childres as well as their constant support in any life situation. Special emphasis is put on work with children within Nordfriesland´s nursery schools. Examples are courses, seminars and events in connection with building self esteem, prevention of violence, motion, improvement of language skills as well as music and rhythm.
Within the foundation´s program we are especially interested in the field of "motion - music - rhythm" and we would like to offer the children the opportunity to show their skills during our event. This will be achieved by "bongo and drums groups of children" under the supervision of a "rhythm ans motion" trainer, who accompany the athletes throughout the running course and help them to make it to the finish line. This will most likely help in assisting the athletesand creating a unique atmosphere and be of great value for the participating children themselves.
Showtime for those "bongo and drums groups" will be during our Kids Triathlon on friday, june 11th on the Herrenkoog compound and on saturday, june 12th in Niebüll on the running course. Those activities will be prepared by courses organized by the Kinderförderverein Nordfriesland e.V. at educational instutions throughout Nordfriesland.
We really look forward to that part of the STÄLJMUN Herrenkoog program and expect that our kids will help create the true Herrenkoog triathlon atmosphere on the clourse.
