foto competition 2010
Here we are with our foto competition for kids and juveniles. We invite all kids and juveniles between the age of 10 and 16 years.
Our event motto will be "sports, fun and motion".
To give the participants an idea of what picture taking is all about we offer a "workshop" in the facilities of the Niebüll youth hostel prior to the STÄLJMUN Herrenkoog triathlon. During this workshop everybody with an interest in creative and exciting activities will have the chance to learn a lot about the basics of fotography. Two instructors will lead you through the day. How does a camera work, where and how do I get the most exciting pictures and how will my results be all but boring. All you need is your camera - or take your mom´s or dad´s . Even simple and affordable digital cameras are welcome. We provide the rest and here we go.
We will stick to the following time frame:
may 15th 2010 14:00 - 18:00 workshop in the Niebüll youth hostel (please show up not later than 13:45)
may 28th 2010 starting 18:00 Ladelund triathlon at the lake in Ladelund (opportunity to work on your abilities and tricks)
may 29th 2010 starting 14:00 opportunity to discuss your results with our instructors at the Niebüll youth hostel
june 11th and 12th 2010 STÄLJMUN Herrenkoog triathlon races (you take your best pictures today)
Every participant (you can participate in the foto competition without attending the workshop) turns in up to three digital pictures (paper copies are allowed as well). A jury will assess the pictures and decide for the three best. Everybody is invited to the award cremony, where we will pass out awards for those pictures.
Every workshop participant is kindly asked for a Euro 5,- fee to cover expenses. You may pay on the 15th of may at the Niebüll youth hostel.
Please register for the event not later than may 7th 2010 at Bernhard Vogel, vogel@herrenkoog-triathlon.de or 0049 - 4661 - 6 00 22 66 with name and age to allow for proper planning.
Feel free to contact Bernhard with any upcoming questions.
We will publish our event in the local newspaper in due time.
We want to learn from each other, but most important is the fun factor. You will love it ...
